Our Timeline To Lexi

April 2008: Lexi came into the playroom with Katie Aunna.

May 2008-January 2009: Prayed for God to guide us in regard to adopting Lexi.

January 2009: Committed to adopting Alexis Viktoria Gartner.

July 1, 2009: Received completed home-study.

July 7, 2009: Applied to USCIS and began praying to St. Jude for a speedy answer.

July 14, 2009: Received our I171H form!!!

July 23, 2009: Psyhciatric evaluation for dossier.

August 12 and 13, 2009: Medical physicals for first trip and court dossier completed.

August 20. 2009: Psychiatrist has to do paperwork again.

August 21, 2009: Sent medical dossier to Texas for apostilles.

August 25, 2009: Received corrected paperwork from psychiatrist.

August 26, 2009: Apostilled documents in our own state capital. Accountant's signature rejected.

August 27, 2009: Sent psychiatrist's documents to Texas for apostilles.

September 4, 2009: Received the final documents with apostilles needed to complete dossier. Dossier composition is complete for both trips. Praise God!!!

September 8, 2009: dossier sent to Kids To Adopt!!! Along with our second agency payment.

September 16, 2009: Discovered a paperwork error associated with the renewed documents which were incorrectly apostilled.

September 17, 2009: FedEx shipping the request for new documents after which these new documents must be sent for apostilles.

September 23, 2009: FedEx shipped the corrected and apostilled documents to K2A. Dossier completed!!!

September 24, 2009: Vika's 10TH birthday. Corrected documents arrive at K2A. Documents added to dossier and shipped out to Frank Foundation. Happy birthday darling!!!

September 25, 2009: Dossier arrives at Frank Foundation and is being checked there. Next, it will go out to Russia and that will be very soon!!!

September 28, 2009: DTR

September 30. 2009: Trip One Date Travel Dates are
October 19Th through October 26Th!!!

October 2, 2009: Leave USA 19 and arrive Moscow on the 20Th. Fly out same day to Murmansk.

October, 21 and 22, 2009: Spend time with our daughter!!!!

October 23, 2009: Return to Moscow and endure the 8 doctor medical exam.

October 23-25, 2009: Tour Moscow for Casey's 16TH birthday.

October 26, 2009: Return without our daughter to await our court date.

December 4, 2009: Court Date

December 5, 2009: Returned to the USA to wait out the ten days post-court waiting period.

December 18, 2009: Return to Russia

December 21, 2009: Pick up Alexis from the orphanage in Murmansk.

December 22, 2009: Return to Moscow

December 23, 2009: American Embassy appointment

December 24, 2009: American Visa issued

December 25, 2009: Flew home to America with our new daughter.

Moscow

Hi...Just wanted to say that we are safely in Moscow and waiting for our facilitator to pick us up so Duane can do the 8 doctor medical exam. We will then fly to Murmansk this evening t0 see Lexi on Wednesday and Thursday. Court will be on Friday. PLEASE....pray for the miracle of our 10-day post court wait to be waived so we may take her home and enjoy the Holidays with her!!!! It would be such a financial blessings abd lots of fun for her!!!!! She has waited so very long for this day to come. Trisha
